For over twenty years, he has served churches in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. He has also served as a church consultant, traveling throughout the United States speaking at conferences and retreats.

His articles have appeared in many magazines and periodicals. He has also written feature columns on foreign affairs and public policy. His column Positively Speaking appears in Employment Weekly.
An Actor
Lou has appeared in numerous television commercials and industrial videos, and has worked as a voice-over artist. He has been nominated for an Encore award as Best Supporting Actor in a Drama for his portrayal of Atilla the Hun in the Steve Allen play Meeting of the Minds.
Lou was the Monday Motivator on Fox 59 AM Morning Show in Indianapolis for four years.
